Senior Commercial Real Estate Appraiser

We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Real Estate Appraiser to join our growing Florida team in Tampa . This position offers the opportunity to work throughout the greater Tampa Bay region and surrounding markets, supporting a diverse range of valuation assignments while developing lasting relationships in one of Florida’s most dynamic commercial real estate markets. In this role, you will complete complex valuation assignments across a variety of property types and engagement purposes, including financial reporting, acquisitions, mortgage lending, portfolio analysis, feasibility studies, litigation support, eminent domain, and estate planning. You’ll collaborate with a respected team of professionals and leverage the resources of a national platform while maintaining a strong local market presence. Key Responsibilities: Conduct full-scope commercial real estate valuations, including industrial, retail, office, multi-family, and special-use properties. Prepare detailed appraisal and consulting reports tailored to client needs. Work alongside senior-level appraisers and MAI-designated professionals. Interface directly with clients, providing clear, data-supported insights. Contribute to high-profile projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Qualifications Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience preparing appraisals for various commercial property types. Solid understanding of valuation principles, commercial real estate terminology, and property tax jurisdictional processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and valuation/reporting tools (e.g., Argus, Excel, CoStar). Self-starter mindset with a passion for professional growth. Collaborative and responsive approach with leadership and clients. Education & Requirements Bachelor’s degree required. Active Florida Certified General Appraiser License required. Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Commercial Real Estate Appraiser (broad property type exposure preferred).
