• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory analyses, including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and other important tests, according to established guidelines.
• Evaluate test results for precision, address discrepancies, and ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Keep detailed documentation of all procedures, mentor new personnel or interns, and uphold laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and secure work environment, adhering to regulatory and accreditation protocols.

Education

• A bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree paired with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Current certification must be maintained throughout your tenure.
