• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all procedures, serve as a guide for new staff or students, and uphold laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a tidy, secure workspace while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year from the date of hiring.
• Maintain active certification throughout employment.
