Role Description The Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, TX. This position focuses on engaging customers in the showroom, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the custom jewelry design and purchasing process. Daily tasks include greeting and assisting clients, presenting product options, explaining design features and pricing, processing sales transactions, and maintaining accurate records in the point-of-sale system. The Sales Associate also supports merchandising and display upkeep, coordinates with designers and production staff on custom orders, and follows up with customers to ensure satisfaction. The role requires consistent collaboration with the team, participation in store events, and adherence to company policies and standards of customer service. Qualifications Customer service and client relations skills, including the ability to listen carefully, communicate clearly, and build long-term customer relationships. Sales and retail experience, preferably in jewelry, luxury goods, or a similar environment, with comfort in consultative selling and closing transactions. Basic business and administrative skills, such as handling POS systems, managing order details, and maintaining accurate sales records. Interest in jewelry, design, or fashion, with the ability to learn product details, materials, and design processes and explain them to customers. Strong organizational and time management abilities, including managing multiple customer interactions and custom orders simultaneously. Professional communication skills, both verbal and written, and a polished, approachable demeanor suitable for a client-facing role. Ability to work on-site full time in Houston, TX, including weekends or evenings as needed, and to stand for extended periods.
