Experience Requirements

• 2 years of welding experience
• Able to weld material up to 1/4 inch thick
• Experience reading and interpreting basic blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work instructions.
• Ability to use a tape measure accurately and perform quality-focused work in a manufacturing environment.

Job Duties

• Perform MIG welding on steel components up to 1/4-inch thick.
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and production instructions.
• Inspect finished welds to verify quality and compliance with specifications.
• Grind, clean, and prepare materials before and after welding operations.
• Maintain an organized and safe work environment.
• Follow established safety standards and manufacturing procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals.

What You Will Do


As a MIG Welder you will prepare materials, set up welding equipment, perform MIG welding operations, inspect completed welds, read blueprints, verify measurements, and help fabricate metal components according to engineering specifications. You will maintain welding equipment, follow quality standards, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations while producing consistent, high-quality work.

A MIG Welder produces high-quality welded assemblies using MIG welding techniques that support manufacturing across many industries. This position combines technical expertise, fabrication skills, and attention to detail to create reliable finished products.


The MIG Welder requires strong welding ability, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings while maintaining quality standards and safe work practices. Successful candidates contribute directly to manufacturing excellence through skilled craftsmanship.
