The Opportunity

• Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
• Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required.
• 1-3 years of Emergency Medicine experience preferred.
• New grads will be considered.
• Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.
• A 3-month training internship (including didactics) offered to candidates who have newly graduated and/or are new to emergency medicine.
• Current CA state license is a plus.

The Practice

Saint Agnes Medical Center Fresno, California

• 436-bed facility with a 63-bed Emergency Department.
• Annual volume of 90,000 with approximately 250 patients per day.
• TEE in the ED for critical resuscitation.
• All sub-specialty backup available excluding neurosurgery; Vituity scribe support available.
• 2024 Best Regional Hospital Award recipient.
• Established Vituity site since 2013.
• SAMC supports an ACGME accredited 3-year EM residency program hosting 24 residents.
