Hand/Upper Extremity Physician

This position offers the opportunity to join Emory‘s orthopedic team as part of MGO and ESA in a collaborative, community-based practice. Due to strong patient demand, there is an immediate opportunity to build a busy, high-volume hand practice while expanding access to specialty care in the region.

Hand and Upper Extremity Orthopedic Surgeon

Focus on core hand and upper extremity surgical procedures, with an anticipated volume of 500-600 hand procedures annually and significant growth potential. You‘ll perform a broad range of procedures, including tendon and nerve repair, fracture fixation, carpal and cubital tunnel release, trigger finger release, thumb CMC arthroplasty, wrist arthroscopy, ligament reconstruction, deformity correction, and selected shoulder and elbow procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess a Doctor of Medicine Degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree (D.O.). Must hold a valid and unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the State of Georgia. Board Eligible or Board Certified preferred. Hold a valid DEA certificate without restriction. Experience in outpatient medical practice preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills required. Must be computer literate.
