Labor and Delivery RN

L&D RN - ObstetricsFull Time working 36 hours per week, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. May rotate shifts and areas as staffing and census require. On call required. Holiday coverage is also required.Current RN licensure in the state.Current CPR certification.Neonatal Resuscitation Certification and ACLS within one year of employment.4 years of experience in Obstetrics care preferred.Provide direct patient care to women in labor, during delivery, and postpartum.Perform assessments and monitor the process of labor.Prepare for C-sections and inductions while ensuring proper documentation of nursing care.Administer care during labor, post-delivery, and postpartum, including infant care and patient education.Prepare the delivery room and provide emotional support to patients.Coordinate transfers, administer IV medications, and adhere to infection control policies.
