Press Brake Operator
We are seeking a Press Brake Operator who will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate metal parts according to specifications. This is a first shift position working from 5:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime available.
Job Duties
- Set up and operate press brake machines to produce parts to exact specifications
- Interpret and work from blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders
- Select, install, and adjust tooling, dies, back gauges, and machine settings
- Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, tape measures, and other precision tools
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments for quality and efficiency
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report mechanical issues
- Maintain clean, organized work area following safety policies and procedures
- Work with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
- Troubleshoot problems and correctly fill out tags associated with production to identify parts produced
- Monitors the calibration of the equipment they use within their department
- Perform other duties as needed
