Remote Clinical Support RoleThis position is remote in Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia. Employees are required to have flexibility to work our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.We offer 3 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EST, Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.This position is primarily a remote role but may require travel into the market on an as needed basis.Primary Responsibilities:Manage the intake of members or the admission/discharge information post notificationWork with hospitals, clinics, facilities and the clinical team to manage requests for services from members and/or providersManage the referral process, processing incoming and outgoing referrals and prior authorizations, including intake, notification and census rolesProvide appropriate triage and care coordination notification cases for non-clinical assessment/interventionHandle resolution/inquiries from members and/or providers. This is high volume, customer service environment. You'll need to be efficient, productive and thorough dealing with our members over the phoneYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experienceValid driver's licenseMust be 18 years of age OR older1+ years of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems1+ years of experience in a telephonic customer service position, such as a call centerProficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel (ability to create, edit, save and send documents and spreadsheets)Ability to travel up to 25% of the time (domestic)Ability to work full time.
