Nurse Health Screening (2026-2027)

Scope of Responsibilities Assumes responsibility coordinating and/or conducting screenings as outlined by the KBN AOS #30 on scope and standards of the roles of nurses in school nursing practice to help ensure children are not experiencing barriers to learning. Supports identification of students who may need further medical follow‑up and provides support for district initiatives that support student health, including but not limited to the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program as needed.
