Associate Director, Tax Transfer Pricing

Associate Director leading global transfer pricing strategy, policy development, and compliance at a pharmaceutical company. Provides technical expertise on intercompany pricing, documentation, and tax reporting while supporting planning, controversy resolution, and M&A initiatives.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage global transfer pricing policies, documentation, and compliance processes
Analyze transfer pricing strategies to mitigate risk, optimize efficiency, and support business operations
Lead transfer pricing audits and provide technical support to local tax teams globally
Support M&A integration, divestitures, IP valuations, and restructuring from transfer pricing perspective
Train, mentor, and develop transfer pricing team members and educate cross-functional stakeholders

Requirements

10+ years transfer pricing, tax planning, or controversy experience from Big Four or in-house
Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance, or related field
Master's in finance, economics, taxation, or J.D. preferred
Strong project management and people management experience
Advanced Excel proficiency; Alteryx, Tax Technology tools, or SAP experience a plus
Ability to communicate complex transfer pricing concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Self-motivated with adaptability and strong collaboration skills
