BPM can be relaxed but need strong Appian Tech lead skills.
No more than 15 plus years of experience
Strong in communication and preferably with Appian Certifications.



 

BPM Team - workflows

Currently supporting risk applications- market, credit, and liquidity risk

Market and credit- move from IBM BPM to appian (by 2028)

BMP team currently 3-4 people - getting slowly trained in appian

Looking for someone in JC or 2nd choice Dallas, last choice Tampa

 

Tech lead- someone who can migrate applications to appian

Appian specific- need migration experience
Need appian SaaS cloud and on prem-
Data fabric layer experience
AI skillset- AI case manager within appian
Candidate needs to support existing applications in IBM BPM and migrate over next 2-3 years
So need Tech Lead Level - 8+



 

Lead role: Come up with migration strategy - working w Appian vendor, hands on support and dev

Define requirements

Mentor team- current risk team is 3-4 senior resources but new to appian

Appian vendor is there- migration has started, Next 6-12 months - most of the role is support the current system IBM BPM then migrate

Hands on support on IBM BPM in the beginning

Map out migration -Integration experts- application has multiple touchpoints and integration , Execution focused

 

Soft skills: Very much collaborative team - interacting very much with leadership

Strong communications

 

Job Description:

Serve as a technical expert for BPM / Appian-based applications

Lead end-to-end design, development, and implementation of BPM solutions on the Appian platform
Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts to translate requirements into efficient, scalable workflows
Drive process automation, workflow orchestration, and case management solutions
Partner with Infrastructure and Cloud teams to deploy and scale BPM platforms on AWS
Evaluate and recommend Appian/BPM solutions aligned with DTCC standards and architecture
Optimize application and workflow performance to reduce latency and eliminate bottlenecks
Leverage AI-assisted tools (AWS Kiro, Amazon Q, Microsoft Copilot) for development, automation, and documentation
Ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems, APIs, and event-driven architectures
Provide technical leadership across development, testing, deployment, and production support
Lead UI/UX design for BPM applications, ensuring intuitive, responsive, and consistent user experiences
Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG), usability guidelines, and DTCC design standards
Align BPM solutions with risk, control, and governance frameworks
Promote best practices in CI/CD, DevOps, and Appian deployment strategies
