Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (Travel Position)

Occupancy Heroes is seeking experienced and dependable Certified Apartment Maintenance Technicians for travel assignments at multifamily apartment communities throughout the United States.

This is an excellent opportunity for maintenance professionals who enjoy traveling, working independently, and supporting apartment communities that need immediate maintenance assistance.

Compensation & Benefits

• $30,000 annual salary

• Full-time travel assignments typically lasting 30 to 90 days

Position Summary

As a Travel Maintenance Technician, you will provide hands-on maintenance support at apartment communities experiencing staffing shortages, property transitions, lease-ups, or increased service demand.

Assignments may be located in California, Texas, Florida, and other states as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Perform general apartment maintenance and repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues
• Prepare vacant units for new residents
• Conduct preventive maintenance and property inspections
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company standards and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate records of completed work orders
• Assist onsite teams with property upkeep and emergency maintenance needs

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of apartment maintenance experience required
• EPA Certification preferred
• HVAC experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and general carpentry
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel for assignments lasting 30 to 90 days
• Valid driver’s license preferred
