The successful candidate will advise on complex products and strategic initiatives involving collateral optimization, liquidity solutions, and evolving regulatory requirements, while also supporting the development of innovative technologies such as digital assets, tokenization, distributed ledger applications, and AI-enabled business processes. The position offers significant exposure to high-profile projects that are shaping the future of financial markets and global market infrastructure.Provide legal and regulatory advice across clearing, collateral management, custody, and related market infrastructure activitiesSupport strategic business initiatives, product development efforts, and regulatory change projectsDraft, negotiate, and advise on a wide range of commercial and market-facing documentationAdvise on central clearing, collateral arrangements, segregation structures, and securities financing transactionsPartner with stakeholders across legal, compliance, credit risk, operations, technology, and business management functionsSupport new product development and business expansion initiativesMonitor legal, regulatory, and industry developments impacting market infrastructure and collateral marketsParticipate in industry working groups and external engagement efforts where appropriateHelp develop scalable legal support models within a fast-paced and evolving business environmentThe Successful ApplicantJuris Doctor and admission to practice in New YorkApproximately 10+ years of legal experience gained within a leading law firm and/or financial institutionExperience supporting collateral management, securities finance, custody, clearing, or related capital markets businessesFamiliarity with industry-standard documentation, including ISDA Master Agreements, CSAs, MRA, MSLA, security agreements, and account control agreementsWorking knowledge of securities laws, broker-dealer regulations, UCC Article 8, and related market infrastructure frameworksExperience advising on complex transactions, regulatory matters, and product development initiativesStrong drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a dynamic environmentInterest in emerging technologies, digital assets, and innovation within financial marketsCollaborative leadership style with strong business judgment and communication skillsWhat’s on OfferSalary of $250,000 to $300,000.Bonus.Equity.Interested?
