Contract Administrator

Job Summary

The Technical Contract Administrator supports procurement and risk teams by reviewing, managing, and maintaining technology-related contracts . This role helps ensure contracts are accurate, compliant with company policies, and properly recorded in internal systems. The position also works closely with legal, finance, risk, and suppliers to move contracts to completion on time.

What This Role Does

This job focuses on technology contracts such as software, cloud services, hardware, and subscriptions. The person in this role:

• Reviews and processes contract documents using standard templates
• Checks contracts to make sure they follow company rules and policies
• Helps identify and reduce risks in low-risk or low-value contracts
• Communicates with internal teams, suppliers, and legal partners
• Keeps contract data and documents accurate and up to date in contract systems
• Helps move contracts through risk review and approval processes
• Follows up on missing information to complete contracts on time

• Software (SaaS, IaaS, cloud, on-premise)
• Perpetual and subscription licenses
• Click-through agreements
• Open-source and freeware agreements
• Hardware and technology services contracts
• Fixed-term and auto-renew agreements

Key Responsibilities

• Review, prepare, and process technology contracts
• Support negotiations for low-risk or low-value contracts
• Coordinate contract details between stakeholders, suppliers, and risk teams
• Track and manage contracts from start to completion
• Maintain clean and accurate supplier and contract records
• Ensure contract templates are updated and used correctly
• Support merger and acquisition contract notices
• Work with Accounts Payable to resolve contract payment issues
• Help with sourcing activities such as RFI, RFQ, and RFP when needed

• Strong knowledge of contracts and procurement processes
• Experience working with technology-related agreements
• Ability to handle multiple complex tasks with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work quickly when urgent requests arise
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work well with legal, finance, risk, and IT teams
• Comfort handling confidential information professionally
• Experience using contract and risk management tools (experience with procurement and risk platforms is a plus)
• Ability to work in a fast-changing environment with a positive, proactive attitude
