Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Risk & Safety Administrator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Santa Barbara, CA with a growing organization in the food and beverage production industry. This role is ideal for an HR, safety, compliance, or risk management professional who enjoys supporting employees, strengthening workplace safety programs, and ensuring compliance in a fast-paced operations environment.

The HR Risk & Safety Administrator will play a highly visible role in helping create a safe, compliant, and employee-focused workplace. Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and support company-wide safety programs, workplace inspections, safety observations, and risk assessments.
- Organize OSHA and Safety Committee meetings while helping ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Respond to workplace injuries, vehicle incidents, and equipment-related accidents, including documentation and investigation support.
- Maintain accurate safety, incident, claims, and compliance records while coordinating with employees, managers, and insurance carriers.
- Administer driver safety programs, vehicle compliance requirements, emergency preparedness activities, and safety training programs.
- Support employee education, awareness initiatives, first-aid supply monitoring, and other HR risk management projects.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: Starting $28 per hour depending on experience.
- Employment type: Temp-to-hire.
- Location: Santa Barbara, CA.
