Therapist - Physical Therapist

$2094.40/week –

Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive physical therapy services to patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care needs. Develops and implements individualized treatment plans to promote functional mobility and recovery in accordance with regulatory and clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients’ physical condition and develop customized care plans utilizing standardized assessments and evidence-based practices.

• Administer therapeutic interventions including manual techniques, ambulation training, therapeutic exercises, modalities, wound care, and use of supportive or assistive devices.

• Monitor and document patients’ progress, adjusting treatment strategies to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate with healthcare team members and provide counseling to patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment goals and progress.

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services rendered, treatment minutes, and patient records in compliance with regulatory guidelines.

• Participate in clinical meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid Massachusetts State License as a Physical Therapist.

• Have at least 1 year of outpatient rehabilitation or long-term care experience; new graduates with Level II experience are welcome.

• Demonstrate proficiency in therapeutic techniques, wound care, and use of assistive devices.

• Exhibit strong communication skills for multidisciplinary collaboration and patient counseling.

• Adhere to APTA standards, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
