Schedule:

• 1 Opening for Evening Shift - 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (Weekday) / 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (Weekend/12hr)
• 1 Opening for NOC Shift - 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Weekday) / 7:00 PM - 7:30 PM (Weekend/12hr)

Position: CBRF Supervisor

Job Description:

• Provides general supervision of the Universal Assistant's. Assures that tasks are completed on time and checks the quality of work.
• Completes annual performance reviews of all team members assigned. Provides guidance and education regarding performance.
• Provides counseling to team members when needed.
• Is responsible for the scheduling of Universal Assistants and finding replacements as needed for call offs or filling in as needed.
• Acts as a back-up Universal Assistant during staffing shortages or when directed to do SO.
• Ensures tasks assigned by the DON are completed, including checking vital signs, weighing Residents, applying creams/ointments and collecting specimens.
• Must be knowledgeable of individual care plans and support the care planning process by providing supervisors with specific information and observations of the Resident's needs, preferences and report any behavioral changes.
• Completes medical records documenting care provided and other information in accordance with nursing policies while maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Assure that established infection control and standard precaution practices are maintained when providing care. Follow established safety precautions when preforming tasks and using equipment and supplies.
• Assists with the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
• Reports all hazardous conditions, damaged equipment and supply issues to the supervisor.
• Maintains the comfort, privacy and dignity of Residents and interacts with them in a manner that displays warmth, respect and promotes a caring environment.
• Must answer and respond to call lights promptly and courteously.
• Assist with new admissions, re-admissions and assist with the transfer of Residents to different rooms within the facility.
• Communicates and interacts effectively and tactfully with Residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Attend and participate in departmental meetings and in-services as directed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• CBRF Certified

Preferred Education and Experience

• One to two years of experience in CBRF as Resident Assistant or Lead Assistant

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

• Knowledge of CBRF medication administration rules
