Title: Mechanical Engineer / Product Development Engineer
Location: 1 Becton Drive, Franklin Lakes New Jersey 07417
Pay Rate: $30 - $35 /hr on W2
Job Description:
We are seeking a Mechanical or Biomedical Engineer to support medical device design, development, testing, and product improvement. The ideal candidate will have experience with CAD tools, laboratory testing, sample preparation, and mechanical test equipment.
Responsibilities:
Develop product concepts, CAD designs, and testing fixtures using SolidWorks, Creo, or Pro/E.
Perform laboratory testing, sample titrations, buffer preparation, and pH adjustments.
Operate mechanical testing equipment such as Instron.
Develop test methods, analyze data, and prepare technical reports.
Support product design verification, quality improvement, and manufacturing activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams while following quality and safety procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
2–4 years of engineering experience, preferably in medical devices.
Experience with CAD tools, laboratory techniques, and mechanical testing.
Proficiency in MS Office and statistical analysis.
Biological specimen handling or bioanalytical assay experience is a plus.
