Director, Global Insights

For our client, we are seeking a Director Global Insights to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will drive marketing initiatives focused on growth, customer acquisition, brand performance, and measurable demand creation. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements. The position offers the opportunity to directly influence customer engagement, conversion performance, and revenue growth within a Pharmaceuticals & Biotech environment. Location: Redwood City, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $211,000 – $264,000 annually Responsibilities Develop and execute the global insights roadmap in collaboration with cross‑functional teams Translate insights from market research into strategic recommendations Communicate key market research findings to influence business decision‑making Initiate activities that enhance organizational knowledge of the market dynamics and competition Align internal stakeholders around market research objectives and findings Develop and present actionable recommendations to key stakeholders, including senior leadership Research and analyze complex market landscapes and competitive dynamics Qualifications Bachelor's degree required (MBA preferred) with 10+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or strategic consulting roles 6+ years of experience in a strategic analytics role Proven experience supporting pipeline and portfolio decision making Extensive primary research and analytical skills required; ability to translate findings into actionable business recommendations Experience conducting market research internationally, particularly outside the U.S Demonstrated ability to influence senior management and key partners effectively Strong organizational and prioritization skills to meet established timelines Benefits Competitive cash compensation and robust equity awards Strong health and wellness benefits Significant learning and development opportunities Flexible work environment with hybrid optionsGrowth‑focused culture and strong emphasis on team collaboration Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
