C Shift Setup Technician Company: Intertech Plastics LLC Primary Location: 12850 E 40th Ave, Denver, CO 80239 USA Workplace Type: On-site Employment Type: Hourly | Full-Time Function: Manufacturing Production / Distribution Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled Main Duties & Responsibilities Job Summary The Injection Molding Setup Technician is responsible for setting up, changing over, and starting injection molding machines to support production needs. This role ensures molds, materials, and processes are set correctly so parts meet quality, safety, and production standards. Shift Schedule: Sunday - Tuesday and every other Wednesday. 5:50pm - 6:00am Key Responsibilities Perform mold changes and machine setups according to the production schedule Install, connect, and verify water lines, air lines, hydraulics, and auxiliary equipment Load and confirm correct resins, colorants, and additives per job requirements Set and adjust machine parameters during startup to meet quality specificationsli> Start machines and approve parts prior to full production run Troubleshoot setup and startup issues related to molds, materials, and equipment Work closely with operators, quality, and maintenance to resolve production issues Complete setup documentation and update process sheets as required Follow all safety procedures, including lockout tagout and housekeeping standards Support continuous improvement efforts and standard work practices On-Site: This role is required to be on-site 5days at the Denver, CO location. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 0-2 years of Previous experience in a plastics injection molding setup or technician role Working knowledge of injection molding machines, molds, and materials Ability to read setup sheets, job travelers, and basic part prints Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with specific molding machines, robots, or auxiliary equipment Understanding of scientific molding or process optimization techniques Forklift or overhead crane experience Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation Work Environment Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to heat, noise, and moving equipment Standing, walking, bending, lifting, and pushing throughout the shift Shift work, overtime, and weekend work may be required Compensation In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $23.50 - $28.50. Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
