Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Description We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage customer accounts, process payments, and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have previous accounts receivable experience and proficiency with QuickBooks. Responsibilities: - Create and send customer invoices - Record and apply incoming payments accurately - Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on past-due accounts - Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies - Maintain accurate payment and collection records - Prepare accounts receivable reports - Respond professionally to customer billing questions - Coordinate with internal departments regarding invoices and account balances - Assist with general accounting and administrative duties as needed Requirements: - Previous accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or related accounting experience - Experience using QuickBooks is required - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Knowledge of invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation - Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, email, and standard office programs - Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills - Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally - High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant education or certification is preferred About Tallahassee, FL Ready to embark on a career adventure in scenic Tallahassee, Florida?
