Payrate: $45.00 - $48.00/hr.

Summary:
The ideal candidate is a hands-on analytical scientist with expertise in HPLC and small-molecule pharmaceuticals. They should have a strong foundation in analytical method development and testing, with the ability to contribute quickly and effectively in the lab. Clear communication of technical work, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, or monitor experiments with minimal supervision.
• Record and organize data, analyze results, and generate reliable data.
• Ensure studies comply with protocols and applicable guidelines/regulations.
• Follow established experimental designs and protocols to obtain reproducible results.
• Plan, monitor, conduct, analyze, and record experiments, providing data interpretation.
• Transfer experimental methods from literature to the lab, making necessary modifications.
• Develop and implement new protocols with moderate review.
• Engage in scientific discussions with coworkers.
• Communicate data and interpretation to the workgroup.
• Develop systems to ensure quality data.
• Use standard laboratory equipment and major instruments/techniques effectively.
• Troubleshoot equipment and experimental difficulties.
• Contribute to reports, papers, presentations, regulatory documents, and patents.
• Participate in department-wide support efforts such as safety, recruiting, and committees.
• Potentially train staff and/or supervise others.
• Coordinate and organize resources needed to complete tasks.
• Understand when to seek input and when to make independent judgments.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• PhD candidates with directly relevant analytical research/industry experience are acceptable.
• Bachelor’s candidates may be considered with approximately 10 years of highly relevant experience.
• Local candidates preferred, but candidates willing to relocate independently can be considered.

Skills

• Technical capabilities in UHPLC, GC, Karl Fisher, and Dissolution method development and execution.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $45.00 - $48.00 /hour . Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
