Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations, including a review of essential medical history, specific assessments, and documentation of findings to formulate a tailored treatment plan. Articulate evaluation results and therapy objectives to patients and their families, ensuring that they are actively involved in the setting of rehabilitation goals. Implement treatment protocols that evolve according to each patient's unique presentation and medical status, adjusting as necessary for optimal recovery outcomes. Engage in ongoing consultations with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care, promptly recognizing and documenting any changes in patients' conditions that may necessitate revisions in their care plans. Plan for effective discharge and follow-up care, maintaining precise and timely documentation that reflects the patient's care journey, including evaluation notes, treatment progress, and discharge planning. Exhibit exceptional time management skills by maintaining an accurate schedule, meeting productivity expectations, and participating in marketing initiatives that reflect our commitment to community outreach. Actively contribute to achieving departmental goals, adhering to industry regulations, and fostering a culture of compliance and quality service delivery. Champion continuous education and professional growth, serving as a mentor and clinical instructor to interns and new staff members. Promote a patient-centric approach to care that prioritizes excellent customer experiences and nurtures responsive accessibility to services. Patient Population / Client Focus You will be primarily serving diverse client populations, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, chronic conditions, and neurological disorders. Our aim is to rehabilitate our patients holistically, empowering them through their recovery process and improving their overall quality of life. You will work closely with patients of all ages and backgrounds, tailoring approaches to meet their unique needs and aspirations. Qualifications Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution. Current and valid physical therapy license in the State of Virginia. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required. A passion for community health, patient engagement, and collaborative care. Preferred Experience Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting. Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams is a plus. Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and telehealth platforms is advantageous. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
