Automotive Garage Technician

We are seeking an experienced Wind Tunnel Technician for a full‑time position located in Allen Park, MI. The role is an afternoon shift - Monday to Friday from 3:00pm to 11:30pm. Initial training will occur on the job during the day, followed by a transition to the afternoon shift after a couple of months. A shift premium is paid for afternoon shifts. Responsibilities Prep and de‑prep vehicles, including wind tunnel instrumentation install and removal. Operate wind tunnels and chassis dynos. Interface with and support customers in the garage, soak rooms, and test cells. Respond to all radio calls as a first responder. Receive and release vehicles in the database; maintain status across multiple databases. Install and remove camouflage from test vehicles. Wash vehicles as necessary. Support cold chamber defrost/defog testing. Provide driver support for test cells and soak rooms. Assist other technicians as needed. Clean and organize all garage areas. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to work afternoons (3:00pm to 11:30pm). General knowledge of automotive parts and functionality. Basic understanding of electrical test methodologies. Computer and interfacing skills. General technical aptitude. Good customer service skills and attitude. Strong communication skills.
