Customer Service Representative

Our client, a leading North American manufacturer serving the residential, commercial, and industrial markets, is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their team. This position will provide day-to-day support to customers while assisting with order and account information, invoicing, payments, data entry, and general office functions.

The ideal candidate has previous office or customer service experience, is comfortable working with computers and detailed information, and can communicate professionally with customers and internal teams. This role is based in a production environment, so candidates should be comfortable working in an office setting that is connected to manufacturing operations.

Pay: $18-20/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Responsibilities:

• Answer customer questions and requests by phone and email and provide helpful, timely follow-up
• Enter customer, order, and account information into an Oracle-based company system
• Process invoices and assist with billing and payment-related tasks
• Collect and record customer payments accurately
• Complete data entry, filing, document preparation, and other general office duties
• Work with internal departments to help answer customer questions and resolve issues
• Keep customer and office information organized while managing multiple tasks throughout the day

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service, office, administrative, or clerical experience
• Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and learning company-specific computer systems
• Stable work history with a track record of reliability and staying in previous positions
• Professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach when working with customers and internal teams
• Comfortable working in an office environment within or alongside a manufacturing/production facility
