Registered Nurse - PACU

Call for Salary Rate - Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in PACU to provide high-quality perioperative, endoscopy, and recovery care. Must demonstrate proficiency across all specialties to effectively support patient recovery and safety. Responsibilities: Assess patients’ post-anesthesia status and monitor vital signs closely. Maintain IV lines and administer medications as per physician orders. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth perioperative and recovery processes. Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly. Prepare patients for discharge or transfer, ensuring all recovery protocols are met. Adhere to facility policies and safety standards at all times. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of recent outpatient PACU experience. Proven expertise in perioperative and endoscopy nursing. Must be able to effectively start and maintain IV lines. Hold an active Vermont or Compact RN license. Possess current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred; experience in small critical access facilities advantageous.
