Work Environment

This role will primarily take place in the homes of our patients, requiring a flexible and adaptive approach to therapy. You will be working with a relatively small team, consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. You will have access to our administrative and rehabilitative resources, ensuring you can deliver high-quality treatment efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patient conditions to establish individualized treatment goals and care plans.
• Manage a caseload that typically accommodates one patient per hour, ensuring personalized attention and care.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to provide treatments that effectively enhance mobility and reduce pain.
• Implement intervention strategies aimed at minimizing dependence on medications and avoiding unnecessary surgical interventions.
• Design and execute comprehensive rehabilitation programs, integrating various treatment modalities as suited to the patient's needs.
• Create personalized fitness and wellness programs tailored to the unique requirements of each patient.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment process, focusing on restoring functional independence.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Monitor patient progress, documenting outcomes and modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal results.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse patient population, primarily individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their movement capabilities. You will work closely with patients who require tailored rehabilitation strategies to regain their functional abilities, improve strength, and enhance overall wellness.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT/DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Hold a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Exhibit a clean professional record free from disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrate proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient or home care setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, especially WebPT.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
