About the Position

Job Title: RN Med/Surg Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med-Surg Adult Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years required License: Active Registered Nurse License in the State of Colorado Certifications: BLS required, ACLS and PALS preferred Must-Have: Associate’s Degree (ADN) from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred Description: Work where others vacation in beautiful surroundings. Position involves providing acute care and swing bed patient care as a team member. Direct care provided must meet the highest standards of evidence-based practice. Evaluation of health status will be conducted through the collection and assessment of health data. Health teaching and counseling will be part of the duties. Provide therapy and treatment that is supportive and restorative to life and well-being. Care provided may be direct or indirect through consultation with, delegation to, supervision of, or teaching of others. Execute delegated medical functions accurately and timely. Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans. Documentation in the medical record must be correct, accurate, and completed in a timely manner. Assessment, interventions, teaching, and care coordination efforts must be documented. Collaboration with ancillary departments and physician providers is essential to address the medical, social, and spiritual needs of the patient. Care must be provided in a culturally and age-appropriate manner. Holiday coverage is required.
