About the Opportunity

Good Shepherd Health Corporation is a growing healthcare company building a multi-state platform through the acquisition and operation of pharmacies and complementary healthcare businesses.

We are seeking an experienced President & Chief Operating Officer (COO) to partner directly with our Founder & CEO and lead the company's operations through its next stage of growth.

This is a hands-on executive leadership position for someone who knows how to build, scale, integrate, and operate businesses .

The Founder & CEO will primarily focus on acquisitions, capital, strategic partnerships, and enterprise growth. The President & COO will take primary responsibility for operations, financial performance, people, acquisition integration, accountability, and execution.

What You'll Do

• Lead day-to-day operations across the organization and its operating businesses.
• Translate the CEO's strategy into measurable operating plans and results.
• Establish company-wide KPIs, dashboards, scorecards, and management reporting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, and financial performance reviews.
• Drive revenue, gross-margin, working-capital, productivity, and EBITDA improvement.
• Build a disciplined weekly and monthly operating-management cadence.
• Establish clear organizational structures, responsibilities, decision rights, and accountability.
• Lead integration of newly acquired businesses.
• Develop repeatable Day 1, 30-, 60-, 90-, and 100-day acquisition integration processes.
• Evaluate business-unit and location performance and implement corrective actions.
• Build and develop management teams capable of supporting continued growth.
• Strengthen shared services across finance, HR, IT, procurement, administration, compliance, and other corporate functions.
• Develop scalable systems, processes, SOPs, and operating controls.
• Identify operational, financial, organizational, and integration risks before they become significant problems.
• Partner with the CEO on strategic planning, M&A, capital allocation, and major enterprise initiatives.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for an accomplished operator who has helped build or scale a complex organization.

Strong candidates may come from backgrounds such as:

• President
• Chief Operating Officer
• Division President
• Regional President
• Operating Partner
• Senior healthcare operations executive
• CFO with significant operating and P&L responsibility

Healthcare experience is strongly preferred, particularly experience involving:

• Retail pharmacy
• Specialty pharmacy
• Long-term care pharmacy
• Healthcare services
• Multi-location healthcare operations
• Acquisition-driven healthcare organizations

Preferred Qualifications

• Significant senior executive leadership experience
• Strong P&L and financial-management capabilities
• Experience managing multi-location operations
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and post-closing integration
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and cash-management skills
• Demonstrated ability to build management teams and operating systems
• Experience developing and managing KPIs
• Strong understanding of organizational design and accountability
• Experience operating in rapidly growing or entrepreneurial organizations
• Private-equity, roll-up, or acquisition-intensive experience is a plus
• Pharmacy or healthcare-services experience is highly desirable

You are analytical, financially sophisticated, organized, decisive, and execution-oriented.

You can move comfortably between strategy and operations.

You can review a P&L in the morning, solve an operating problem in the afternoon, evaluate an acquisition integration plan, and hold a leadership team accountable for results.

You don't need every system to already exist—you know how to build them.

You are also comfortable working closely with an entrepreneurial Founder & CEO and have enough executive confidence to respectfully challenge assumptions when the facts support a different conclusion.
