School-Based Occupational Therapist

Howell, MI

AnthroMed Education is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to support our partner program in the Howell area, serving students with significant needs across a middle school building and a high school building

Position Overview:

• Full-time OT supporting a center-based ASD program
• Primarily working with secondary-aged students (final age range being confirmed)
• Additional part-time OT support in place

Student Population:

• SXI (Severe Multiple Impairments) and MOCI (Moderate Cognitive Impairments)
• ASD-focused programming
• Frequent use of AAC devices—strong experience and comfort required

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience or strong interest in working with ASD and CI populations
• Confidence supporting and collaborating around AAC use
• Flexibility working across two buildings
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset

Qualifications:

• Certification as an Occupational Therapist in the state of MI.
• Previous experience working with children or in a school-based setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Passion for working with diverse student populations.
• Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
