Physical Therapist - Part Time 24 Hours - Day Shift - Howell

Location: Henry Ford Medical Center – Howell. Schedule: This 24‑hour position will have a 4‑day per week schedule: two 8‑hour days on Monday and Wednesday, and two 4‑hour days on Tuesday and Thursday. General Summary Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs. Responsibilities Performs initial and on‑going assessments of patient’s condition. Establishes, revises and evaluates a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family. Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient. Oversees activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel. Education/Experience Required Physical Therapist bachelor degree with 5 years of experience OR Master’s/Doctorate degree acquired from a Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited program. Certifications/Licensures Required Current State of Michigan licensure. Will consider those who will be licensed within 30 days of applying. Current CPR certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire).
