Profession: Nursing Specialty: Long-Term Acute Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years of current Long-Term Acute Care experience required. License: Kentucky or compact license required. Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS certification required. Must-Have: Experience in MS/Tele or ICU with a 1:4 patient ratio. Experience with Meditech EMR preferred. Charge experience is preferred. Experience with travel nursing is required. Description: The position requires a registered nurse with a minimum of two years of current Long-Term Acute Care experience.Candidates must possess experience in medical-surgical, telemetry, or intensive care units.The nurse will be working with a patient ratio of 1:4.Experience with the Meditech electronic medical record system is preferred.Candidates must have valid AHA certifications in BLS and ACLS, as well as NIHSS certification.A current Kentucky or compact nursing license is mandatory.Every other weekend work is required.Candidates must be willing to work a schedule of 36/48 hours over a two-week pay period.Flexibility with scheduling is necessary as blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated.Two references are required from past employment, including one from a charge nurse or higher and one from a supervisor.The role involves various nursing skills including ventilator management, wound care, central line management, and medication administration.The daily census in this specialty unit is 20 patients, with a mixture of adult and geriatric patients.The candidate should be comfortable working as part of an interdisciplinary team, collaborating effectively with physical therapy, respiratory services, and other support services.All applicants must possess documentation of their certifications and be ready to provide information as requested. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
