Property Accountant

Property AccountantOur client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for a Property Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 1+ years of accounting experience, who is detailed oriented, real estate experience is a plus! This position is hybrid after training is complete.The salary range for this position is $65k-80k + bonus.The Property Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:Prepare monthly close and prepare financial statements.Reconciliation of bank statements.Daily interaction with asset manager, banks and tenants.Review invoices for AR ledger and collections.Review invoices for AP check runs.Prepare and review annual property budget.Assistance with property on-boarding.Review operating results to budget and provide variance analysis.Participate in staff meetings and special projects as needed.The Property Accountant will possess the following:Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or closely related field1+ years of accounting experience.Real Estate experience preferred.Experience with NetSuite, Yardi or Kardin preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Equal Opportunity EmployerThe compensation philosophy reflects the Company's reasonable expectation at the time of posting.
