- Process jobs through the system by completing all required paperwork and computer data entries associated with the CNC production process.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area throughout the shift to support efficient production and safety compliance.
- Regularly clean and maintain CNC routers, CNC mills, and related equipment to ensure reliable and safe operation.
- Program and troubleshoot CNC router functions and adjust machine parameters as needed to maintain quality and throughput.
- Use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions and tolerances of machined parts.
- Interpret blueprints and shop travelers to determine machining requirements, setups, and sequence of operations.
- Apply good organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines.
- Work independently on assigned tasks while accepting direction and feedback from supervisors and leads.
- Cross-train other team members as assigned to support a flexible and collaborative production environment.
- Practice a willingness to learn production and distribution methodologies and continuously improve skills and processes.
- Adhere to all safety rules, regulations, quality standards, and procedures, including safe operation of hazardous machinery and tools.
- Maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers while operating with high integrity.
- Monitor equipment and surroundings with frequent visual and auditory attention to identify needs for repair, service, or adjustment to machines and facilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Basic computer skills to complete required data entry and production documentation.
- Ability to measure using different tools such as micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while also following direction when required.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation to maintain productivity and quality standards.
- Commitment to operating with high integrity and maintaining positive working relationships.

Paid time off allows for rest and balance outside of work, while the smaller local team environment fosters close-knit collaboration and a sense of community where your contributions are visible and valued.
Work Environment
The role is based in a metal-cutting production facility focused on aviation-grade (2000 and 7000 series) and marine-grade (5000 series) metals. The environment is a non-climate-controlled yet comfortable warehouse setting. In colder months, heaters provide warmth, and during warmer seasons, large fans and open doors help circulate air. You will work around hazardous machinery, sharp tools, moving objects, noise, heat, and humidity, and you will need to maintain frequent visual and auditory attention to equipment and surroundings. The facility operates CNC mills, CNC routers, and related equipment using Fanuc and Haas controls, with exposure to additional platforms such as Hyundai and Mazak, and the use of precision measuring tools like micrometers and calipers. This position is on 3rd shift, with core hours from Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., and Friday designated as an overtime day; openness to overtime on Fridays is required. The local operation is relatively small, with around a few dozen employees, creating a close-knit, collaborative atmosphere. The dress code consists of jeans, a T-shirt, and steel-toed shoes, and employees receive a 30-minute lunch break.
