Description:

The Robotics Operator is responsible for independently operating and maintaining plate processing equipment within the Plate Shop. This role supports production by cutting, forming, drilling, and preparing metal components according to engineering drawings and production specifications. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Layout, position, and secure parts according to specification.

2. Able to read Drawings and produce parts based on drawing. 

3. Operate Robotic Python as necessary to produce parts. 

4. Produce items daily in support of production.  

5. Computer and/or CNC experience. 

6. Inform leadsmen and or Foreman of shortages with material. 

7. Understand how to troubleshoot.

3. Displays excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with customers and coworkers and including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure

Minimum Experience and Qualifications  

2 years of experience preferred

Education and/or Equivalent Experience

High School Diploma and2 years of experience in shop environment preferred.

Critical Skills

Computer Skills: Good understanding of computer operations

Reasoning Ability: Ability to read blueprints and understand parts 

Physical Demands

Regularly: Standing, lifting, operating equipment.
