Turn Grill Cashier

Located at Hidden River Golf & Casting Club in Brutus, MI Full-Time Job Description Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Turn Grill Cashier at our golf course. As a Turn Grill Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our golfers and other patrons by accurately processing their food and beverage orders and handling transactions efficiently. Your primary goal will be to ensure a positive dining experience for all customers visiting the Turn Grill. Responsibilities: Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude, providing prompt and courteous service. Take food and beverage orders from golfers and other patrons in a timely manner. Accurately enter orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system and process transactions for food, beverages, and snacks. Handle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods, ensuring accuracy and integrity in all transactions. Maintain a clean and organized cashier station, including ensuring an adequate supply of cash and making change as needed. Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient order fulfillment and delivery of food and beverages to customers. Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding menu items, specials, and promotions. Maintain a good understanding of our golf course layout, events, and policies to provide accurate information to customers. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring cleanliness and proper storage of food, beverages, and supplies. Assist with stocking inventory, including restocking condiments, utensils, and other supplies as needed. Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional and diplomatic manner, seeking assistance from a supervisor when necessary. Follow opening and closing procedures for the Turn Grill, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash transactions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. Basic math skills for calculating totals, making change, and reconciling cash registers. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations is a plus. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods. Lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Bend, reach and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
