ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I officially opened our agency on June 1, 2024, but my roots with State Farm run much deeper as I spent over 18 years working in another agent’s office before launching my own. Today, I lead a small but passionate team of three full-time professionals who are dedicated to helping our clients protect what matters most.

As a second-generation State Farm agent who’s lived in Kent County my whole life, I’m deeply connected to this community. ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Lindsay Dougherty - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
