Inverto | Principal, Procurement

What You'll Do As a Principal Consultant in Procurement, you will work with BCG clients to develop and implement strategies to optimize procurement processes and supply chain management. In this role you will apply expertise, understand business contexts, and use analytical skills to enable organizational priorities. You will also work in multidisciplinary teams to help businesses improve their products and create market growth strategies. Far‑reaching responsibility: ensure the professional and personal development of your team and shape management strategies as a member of the Inverto management team. Strategic customer management: work closely with customers and serve as a sparring partner while managing their projects. Specific development: support company‑wide knowledge development with your expertise and lead a specific subject area for knowledge sharing. Broad range of challenges: project assignments at home and abroad across industries such as startups, trade, consumer goods, energy, automotive, pharmaceutical, and healthcare. Comprehensive project management: develop and implement tailor‑made strategies in procurement and supply chain management and demonstrate entrepreneurial talent in acquiring new customers. What You'll Bring 7+ years of professional experience in procurement and/or supply chain management (consulting experience highly preferred). BS from an accredited university (MS preferred). Significant success in business optimization. Strong communication and presentation skills. Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills. Results‑orientated mindset. Confidence and persuasiveness. Business‑fluent written and spoken English. Willingness to travel globally; moderate travel anticipated based on project locations. Additional Information Base Location: Chicago and Atlanta. Travel: Moderate travel anticipated, varying by project location. What We Offer The base compensation for this role is $230,000 in USD. In addition to your base salary, you will be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus and retirement contribution.
