Description

American Traveler is hiring a Rehab RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring 1 year of med surg, LTAC, SNF or rehab experience and an active IL RN license.

Details

• Work in the Rehab unit of a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:5-7
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 18:15 to 6:45
• Required to work every other weekend
• Floating required
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active IL RN license in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of med surg experience required
• LTAC, SNF, or rehab experience also accepted
• Nursys report required (pulled within the last 2 weeks)

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted, subject to screening if less than 2 years of overall experience
• Maximum RTO of 3 days, with no RTO permitted during the first or last week of the contract
• Block scheduling requests are not accommodated
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Former University of Chicago Medicine, PRN, or Ingalls permanent staff must have a 7-month gap in employment before returning as a traveler
• Non-billable orientation modules (2-3 hours) required, varying by profession
