Purchasing ReceiverThe Purchasing Receiver is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and organizing all deliveries to the property, ensuring accuracy, quality, and proper storage of goods. This role supports multiple departments by maintaining an orderly storeroom, documenting inventory, and facilitating smooth product flow.This full-time position has hourly compensation of $35.00 per hour.Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceive and inspect all deliveries for accuracy, damage, and quality complianceMatch incoming goods with purchase orders and delivery documentationCommunicate any discrepancies or quality issues to the Purchasing ManagerOrganize and label goods in designated storeroom locations, maintaining order and cleanlinessRotate stock using FIFO principles and monitor product shelf lifeMaintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts or auditsSafely operate carts, lifts, and equipment to move and store goodsSupport kitchen and beverage teams with product retrieval and distributionQualifications1–2 years of receiving, stockroom, or inventory experience, preferably in hospitality or food serviceBasic understanding of product handling, storage conditions, and safety protocolsAbility to read purchase orders, invoices, and shipping manifestsComfortable with physical labor and working in temperature-controlled environmentsFamiliarity with inventory software or basic computer literacySkillsHighly organized with attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication and accountability in cross-department supportReliable, punctual, and efficient with time managementAble to multitask and handle a steady flow of deliveriesPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentEndure various physical movements throughout the work areasAbility to move safely in uneven terrain or in confined spacesRemain active, constantly moving, or prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer throughout work shiftMedium Work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of constantly moving objects, may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 poundsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
