Clinic Director/Physical Therapist – West Lansing location Doctors of Physical Therapy is looking for a Clinic Director/Physical Therapist to maintain excellent patient care standards with one‑on‑one care while cultivating dynamic relationships with patients and team members in our clinic. Clinic Director responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supervision and mentorship of all clinical staff (PT/OTs, PTAs, techs and front desk) to foster a team approach where every person feels valued and empowered. Meeting or exceeding clinical goals related to clinical and operational performance metrics. Providing weekly reporting to the Director of Operations on clinical performance. Building physician and referral relationships in partnership with the Business Development team to facilitate clinic growth. Implementing marketing efforts with team members for community outreach. Cultivating relationships with patients and the community. Communicating with stakeholders in a professional manner including, but not limited to, other health‑care professionals, insurance companies, third‑party payers, case managers, DPT team members, etc. Monitoring and adapting performance according to budget. Efficiently adjusting clinical hours for staff to accommodate fluctuations in patient volume. Managing all aspects of compliance, appearance, and maintenance of the physical clinic. Maintaining contemporary knowledge in physical therapy practice through educational workshops, continuing education, etc. All of the above responsibilities are performed in addition to maintaining a clinical directorship. Clinical duties include, but are not limited to: Performing physical therapy initial evaluations according to APTA standards. Developing a comprehensive plan of care for each patient based on initial evaluation findings. Understanding reimbursement standards by insurance carrier and designing a clinically superior patient program that allows for heightened success. Demonstrating consistent compliance excellence by: Developing short and long‑term goals for patients. Implementing plan of care. Providing comprehensive therapy treatment to improve patient well‑being and return to optimized functionality. Consistently reporting patient progress to referring physicians and other professionals involved in ongoing treatment. Creating and documenting home exercise plans for patients to maximize benefits of physical therapy. Planning and executing patient discharge.
