Intervention Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking an Intervention Specialist to join our team in Bentleyville, PA. Compensation Pay $21.69 per hour. Position Details The Intervention Specialist provides behavioral modification support to the classroom. This position will create and implement Positive Behavior Support Plans, engage in data collection, progress reporting, and provide classroom behavior modification techniques. Responsibilities Work one-on-one or with group in a school setting. Pass and implement safety care training, recognize antecedent behavior, utilize de-escalation techniques, apply physical techniques when warranted for safety, and properly document all interventions. Process events verbally and provide other therapeutic services as needed. Follow clinical guidance from a certified clinician. Co-facilitate group sessions with a certified clinician, and facilitate group sessions independently when the clinician is not available. May perform other related duties as required or assigned.
