Summary: The Invasive Cardiac Interventional Radiology Technologist, under the direction of a qualified physician, assists in the performance of cardiovascular studies and interventional procedures, resulting in accurate diagnosis and/ or treatment of heart or peripheral vascular disease, or any other procedures performed within the Cath lab while promoting maximum patient safety and comfort.
Other information: Qualifications: Completion of a formal radiological technology training at an approved AMA School required. Board Certified or Board Eligible obtaining Certification within one (1) year of hire (AART Cardiac Intervention or RCIS Certification) required CPR ACLS 12 CEUs on a yearly basis 1 year of prior experience is preferred
