TITLE
Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

SCHEDULE
Nights 7a-7p

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

REQUIREMENTS
- Current Registered Nurse license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
- At least 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department
- 1 year of previous critical care nursing experience required

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess patients during admission and throughout their stay
- Administer IV medications, therapy, and blood as needed
- Provide patient education
- Document nursing care actions, teaching, observations, and patient responses

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Travelers with hits/actions on License/Background will not be accepted.
- Must be willing and able to work charge nurse and preceptor roles if needed.
- Orientation: Up to 16 hours may be unpaid.
- The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
- Candidates must reside outside of a 50-mile radius.
