ABOUT OUR AGENCY

I opened my agency in 2026 and currently lead a growing team of five. Before becoming an agent with State Farm, I worked in the pharmaceutical industry. After seeing the success of several friends who became agents, I became interested in the insurance business and was drawn to the opportunity to build something of my own while helping people protect what matters most. I attended Morehouse College and have a passion for both golf and music. In fact, I’ve been a DJ for over 25 years, and music has always been a big part of my life. I enjoy bringing that same energy, creativity, and connection with people into the agency. ROLE DESCRIPTION

Marquez Harris - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members. Manage appointment scheduling and office communications. Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records. Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options. Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs. Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role. Communication and interpersonal skills. Organizational and multitasking abilities. Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
