Senior Account Manager - Power Generation Products

Job Description Job Description Gen-Systems is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Senior Account Manager – Power Generation Products to support sales growth and account development across our power generation product portfolio. This role is ideal for a sales professional who is ready to strengthen customer relationships, support commercial activity, identify growth opportunities, and work cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver responsive account support. The successful candidate will serve as a key commercial contact for customers and play an important role in expanding market presence across industrial and energy-related applications. Key Responsibilities Manage assigned customer accounts for power generation products and related solutions Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication, follow-up, and account support Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts and target customers Serve as a primary commercial contact for customer inquiries, quotations, and follow-up Support proposal preparation, pricing coordination, and commercial documentation Coordinate with internal technical and operations teams to respond to customer requirements Track account activity, opportunity updates, and forecasts within CRM tools Support contract discussions, order follow-up, and issue resolution Monitor customer requirements, market activity, and competitor developments Participate in customer visits, trade events, and other sales activities as needed Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field 3+ years of sales, account management, or business development experience in power generation, industrial equipment, energy, or related markets Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer support skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts and commercial activities effectively Commercial awareness and willingness to learn technical product applications Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail Willingness to travel as needed Preferred Qualifications Experience with generators, gas turbines, power systems, or related equipment Exposure to industrial, utility, oil and gas, emergency power, or temporary power applications Experience using CRM systems and pipeline management tools Ability to work effectively across technical, commercial, and operational teams Strong potential for continued growth in industrial or technical sales Company Description At Gensystems, we're not just in the business of providing power, we're in the business of empowering possibilities.
