The Care Project is excited to announce an opening for a full-time Physical Therapist (PT) specializing in orthopedic outpatient care. In this vital role, your primary focus will be on restoring mobility and enhancing the overall quality of life for our patients. You will work collaboratively within a small team of dedicated professionals, using your expertise to provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy interventions. This position emphasizes the importance of patient-centered care, ensuring that each individual receives tailored treatment plans that support their unique recovery journey.

Our facility encompasses a modern, 5,000 square foot space, equipped with state-of-the-art technology for sports medicine. Work Environment
Working onsite, you will enjoy a collaborative and supportive environment that fosters communication and teamwork. Our outpatient office features advanced rehabilitation equipment and a welcoming atmosphere, designed to help patients feel comfortable and motivated during their treatment. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and establish personalized treatment goals.
- Manage a patient load of one patient per hour to ensure focused and individualized care.
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise programs, to facilitate patient recovery.
- Design and implement detailed treatment plans that may include cost-effective therapies, minimizing reliance on medications and providing non-surgical alternatives whenever possible.
- Monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment outcomes, and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with professional standards.
- Foster patient motivation and engagement through regular encouragement and support.
- Collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Continuously update skills and knowledge of emerging practices in physical therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and conditions affecting mobility. Our focus is on providing tailored care to each patient, understanding their specific challenges, and empowering them to achieve their rehabilitation goals. Your role will be crucial in facilitating not only physical recovery but also encouraging a holistic approach to health, focusing on improving strength, flexibility, and overall wellness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
- Current licensing as a Physical Therapist in the State of Nevada with a clean record, free from board or disciplinary actions.
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement effective exercise programs.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Preferred Experience
- At least one year of experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
- Demonstrable success in developing and executing customized treatment plans for diverse patient needs.
- Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams in a healthcare setting.
Compensation and Benefits
This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
