Part Time Accounting Clerk - Forest Hill, MDCFS is partnering with a repeat client, a boutique accounting firm located in Harford County providing retirement, estate and tax planning services. Due to growth, our client is hiring a part time Accounting Clerk to work onsite in their office in Forest Hill, MD. The Accounting Clerk will work with a small team and handle a variety of administrative and accounting duties. Company provides in depth training for new employees.Job Duties of the Part Time Accounting Clerk:Categorize expenses from bank statements, make entries into spreadsheets, verify account numbersPerform data entry for various types of taxes and assist with 1040, 1065, and 1120 returnsPrepare journal entriesPerform reconciliationsAssist with processing payroll and payroll taxes for clienteleIdeal Candidate for the Part Time Accounting Clerk Position:Ability to work with peers, staff and management in a team-oriented environmentReliable and flexiblePatient, able to slow down and analyze thingsMust have strong verbal and written communication skillsExceptional time management and organizational skillsEager to learn and develop new skillsQualifications for the Part Time Accounting Clerk:Degree NOT requiredBasic understanding of accounting, debits and credits, and state and federal taxesStrong computer literacy and office etiquetteMust be proficient with ExcelClean drug screen requiredSchedule: Part time flexible schedule between 9am-5pm, M-F, 100% on site in Forest Hill, MD. Pick 2 days to start!Pay: $21-25/hour depending on experience
